<strong><i>Question by AD</i>: Replace banned XBox 360 MAC/serial with a broken 360's info to unban from Live?</strong>
I have a dead XBox 360 (common crappy hardware failure) but my console is still valid for XBL. Can I buy a used banned console and replace the MAC/serial with my broken console's information to get it working on Live again? I *may* (keeping it legal) likely softmod it (to play backups of purchased games of course!), so if I can kill 2
