Why is it that all my xbox 360 memory on my hard drive suddenly dissapear? Did not format the hard drive.?

Last night I played my xbox 360 and it worked fine. Today after school I come home, and my xbox takes about 2 minutes or so to start-up. Then, I try to sign into my xbox live account/gamertag. I notice something, All of my profiles/gamertags are gone. I go to my system imfo. The hard drive is there but where it says "Free Space:" its blank. Where it says "Space
