The game "Portal" for PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360?

Hello everyone,

Although I am not a First-Person Shooter fan, I have wanted to play the game "Portal" for a long time. Now, I have two questions regarding which version of the game I should get:

1) Is there a way to get the game for Xbox 360 or PS3 without having to purchase "The Orange Box."

2) Does the Xbox 360 version have any substantial improvement over the PS3 version, or Vice-Versa?
