I'm wanting to get a black case and change out the green LEDs on the ring of light to red LEDs. This isn't considered one of those mods that gets you banned from live is it?
Im sure if I got the RROD I would know it...it just would have less of an impact. It actually had problems with only showing a blank screen but a blow dryer to the video card area

Because I need more memory desperately, I'm thinking of buying a 20 or 60 gig hard drive and placing it in an xbox slim, if it doesn't work, I'll have to go buy a USB flash drive. Please answer,

My brother just got a Wii for Christmas. I play it with him every once in a while, but it is not really the type of gaming I enjoy. I have a Playstation 2 and PSP and I'm thinking about selling my PS2 so I can get a PS3. Should I buy the PS3 or use the money to buy games for the system that we already have?

Hey i wanted to get a core xbox 360 from gamestop and i wanted to know if they brake cuz it's either used or refurbished.Also i want to know if it will still get red ring of death if i unplug all cables when i dont use it like the ac adapter and composite and component cables from the t.v,will it it be safer that way? cuz i am starting to think that the xbox 360 may get rrod because
1.they are on the carpet
2.leaving it on stand

How is the "feel" of the games (the same or better) compared to console versions?... Just curious: I've always been a "console gamer" and partial to a controller/gamepad (rather than a keyboard/mouse).

I've done a few mods to it including upgrading the fans, making a custom hard drive enclosure, switching out the ROL LEDs, flashing it with XBR, upgrading the DVD drive firmware and adding an Ethernet port for flashing the NAND. I have been thinking for some time know if I should sell my original 20GB ps3 for an xbox 360 60GB. Especially now that there is a price drop.
Pros:
- Most of my friends have 360's not PS3's so I have like 5 friends that have PS3's and only 2 play online
- I dont wanna be the only one in college (going into 11 grade) that has a PS3
- Live is better than PS3 NET

Answer by Draco_RedI'm sorry, but to connect the Xbox 360 via wireless you will ether need the official Xbox WiFi adapter or a Wireless "Game adapter" (which Converts the WiFi signal to Ethernet). Microsoft specifically designed the Xbox 360 to disallow third party WiFi adapters, and there is not support for USB WiFi adapters on the original Xbox.

I just got the update this morning and there's new things suck as shears , pistons , sticky pistons , etc . I saw that for the sticky piston you need slimeballs . The only way to get slimeballs is to kill the slime monsters . I looked up online how to kill them and where to find them , but I've been unsuccessful finding even one of them . I recently got the Halo:Reach limited edition 360 console in January. Every time I try to sign into Xbox LIVE with my account through wireless it tells me to "connect an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter." I went on Xbox.com/support and it tells me that it needs to go in for repairs if this happens.
HOWEVER
If I unplug my wireless router for 10-30 seconds and wait for my internet to turn back on and reset

Please note I do not Have an HD Tv, so i wont be buying the ps3 for the blu ray.
And is the online as good as xbox live?

Sorry about the T-Cam view - my eyes don't work in car! The game has a different feel to F1 2010 and is bit more twitchy to play. Graphics are better but still not as good as they could be. Overall, a really good game with a nice feel.

I ordered a Halo 2 game, but when I insert the disc in my Xbox 360 Slim version 4GB it says: "You need too attach an Xbox 360 Hard Drive to play original Xbox games."
Wait, I have a 4GB Hard Drive already in the console, right? It should work then, I don't get what's the problem. Maybe 4GB just isn't enough to install this game? Please answer. Thanks in advance.
